At just sixteen Callum Fitzpatrick is not old enough to take a drink, yet he is old enough to play the lottery; in fact he has just scooped a big jackpot. The Ballymartin lad is one of the youngest winners of the National Lottery in Northern Ireland.
He was watching the draw and saw the first five numbers drawn match those on his ticket. Then he missed the sixth number but got the bonus ball. That was enough to secure a £400000 jackpot prize.
He has no clear plans for the money yet. He is considering giving some to his family, buy a car when he turns 17, and save the rest.
