Some people try to increase their retirement nest egg by setting aside hundreds or even thousands of dollars for investments. For Kevin Reynolds, all it took was a $2 investment to assure a more comfortable retirement.
The Iowa grocery store employee ‘invested’ $2 in a Lucky For Life ticket, which he bought at the same Hy-Vee supermarket where he works. It was actually his workmates who informed him that he may have won. Once he checked he realized he had won a prize of $25,000 a year for life.
He says this will make retirement easier and that he will still play the lottery occasionally.
