The Pennsylvania Lottery has announced that the jackpot for the March 23 drawing of the Powerball Lotto has increased to an annuity value of $320 million, equivalent to a single payment of $198.3 million.
The huge jackpot is expected to draw more than the usual number of players, so lottery officials have advised players to place their bets early. Tickets for the next drawing will only be available till 9:59 pm Saturday.
