In NH, lottery players who purchase the “I Heart Bacon Scratch Ticket” smell bacon as they scratch the card hoping to land some ‘bread.’ Sales of the $1 ticket started on 05 January this year.
Lottery officials says the bacon smell embedded on the tickets is meant to give players more fun as they play for as much as $1000 in cash prizes. Three events are scheduled to introduce the new instant tickets: outside the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on Jan. 21 and another one at the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in Keene on Jan. 23, and finally one at Hooksett Welcome Centers on Jan. 30. In each of these events, the lottery will hand out scratch tickets with free slices of bacon.
