A regular at Conway’s Restaurant and Lounge in Springfield has an unusual habit of giving tips to bartender Aurora Kephart in the form of unplayed lottery tickets.  The one thing different this time is that one of the tickets given as a tip won a significant amount – $17,500.

When they found out, she describes the generous tipper’s face as “incredible” and the mood in the bar of mostly regular patrons upbeat.  Aurora tried to give the ticket back to the customer, but he refused saying the ticket is hers.

After claiming the prize, it was the bartender’s turn to tip – she gave some of the money to the customer who gave her the ticket.  And she treated herself to a new couch!
