It took a big jackpot from a Multiplier Spectacular instant game for Belinda S. Garner’s life to change forever. Garner from Huron, a community in southwest Henderson County, had bought the winning ticket at Major Market in Lexington. Scratching it off revealed a $5,000,000 prize.
Garner’s $5 million win shattered the previous record scratch-off prize ever from the Tennessee Lottery which had stood at $3 million. Store Manager Joyce Moody informs us that Garner had been so stunned by her incredible luck, she had been crying and was not available for comment.
Major Market has also reaped benefits from Garner’s win, and is gaining a reputation as a lucky outlet to purchase tickets from. And of course they will receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket.
