Broadstone Bus Drivers Win €24m

It is believed that 22 members of a syndicate composed of Dublin bus drivers have won a EuroMillions jackpot of nearly €24 million.

The syndicate who are said to all work at the Broadstone garage in North Dublin have bagged €23,845,060 from the Friday EuroMillions draw.  Since there are more millions than members, each will walk away millionaires.

Ironically, the National Bus and Rail Union, which covers bus drivers, are demanding a 30% pay increase.  For at least 22 new millionaire bus drivers, that may not mean so much anymore.
