The owner of Beef Burger on on Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro has just won a $150,000 scratch card jackpot and is convinced his late wife has something to do with it.
Ralph Havis and his late wife Alma used to play scratch tickets together and Alma won $150,000 a few years back. But Alma has passed just this January and Havis’ own win came on his very first instant ticket after her passing! Though Havis is happy with the blessing, he says he would give it all back and more if he could just have his Alma back.
