Butcher Margaret Douglas wasted no time in scratching her ticket – she was still on coffee break after all. What she saw made her heart beat wildly – a coin and the word life. It was then she realized that she had won the top prize of $10.000 a week for life. She had won a handsome lifetime pension on her coffee break.
She later opted to receive the lump sum equivalent of $4,854,424 after taxes. The happy lady now plans to buy a new home and perhaps cut back on working hours.
