While many lottery players spend a lot of time and effort trying to come up with lucky number combinations, Allen Smith won through a simple quick pick ticket.
Smith has been playing the Cash 5 game and buys tickets whenever the jackpot is big. His efforts were rewarded when he was one of only two winners of a $937,346 jackpot in the Sept. 30 draw. Michael Jones of Fayetteville is the other winner.
Now Smith looks forward to being able to purchase his own home.
