Canada’s lottery regulators Service NL has launched an investigation into the Chase the Ace draw after evidence of duplicate tickets was brought to their attention. In light of the developments, the draw for Chase the Ace lottery originally scheduled for Wednesday in St. John’s, NL has been postponed.
The St. Kevin’s Parish in St. John Gould’s neighborhood, who organized the draw are working with Service NL and the printers to determine whether all conditions of the lottery license have been met. Service NL’s investigation is meant to ensure the integrity of the draw.
There’s no word yet on when the draw for the estimated $1 million top prize will resume. In the meantime, those who have bought tickets are advised to hold on to them.
