It was only days before their second wedding anniversary that Mark Benbow won big on the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle.
But as they haven’t been able to afford a honeymoon yet, it’s proved an especially timely win.
Mark, 38, from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales works on the railways. But he doesn’t plan to go too wild with the money – after all, he’s still young and it won’t last long if he did.
He is however planning on taking his wife on a their overdue honeymoon, and Rome is a top favourite for the destination.
There will also be a free bar at the next darts match in Dowlais at the Guest Keen Memorial Social and Bowls Club. Mark is a keen amateur darts players alongside his father and younger brother.
The couple have no plans to move away though, as they both love living in Merthyr Tydfil area. They just plan to enjoy the extra freedom that winning £1 Million has given them.
