David and Dawn Brown, from Penkridge, have won £1 million in the EuroMillions Millionaire’s Raffle last Tuesday.
A shift supervisor at a steel factory, David was having breakfast when he checked the numbers through his phone. Too nervous to think properly, he had to ask a colleague to double check his win. And just to be sure, he called the offices of lottery operators Camelot, before informing his wife.
Both plan to keep on working, but there are plans to pay off bills, a couple of cars and a holiday somewhere.
