A couple who have been buying tickets with the same number combination for 27 years finally hit a big jackpot of €5.3 million. But it was an additional quick pick line, the man bought “for insurance” which gave them their win.
Now the happy couple, who have asked to remain anonymous, are looking forward to a trip to Las Vegas, and purchasing a two-seat Ferrari convertible. They also plan on using some of the money to help out their family.
They bought the winning entry from the Roslevan Stores, Ennis, Co Clare.
