A mechanical engineer who regularly plays Lotto and Euromillions has finally hit a big jackpot. Steve Hargreaves of Blackburn, won £1 million in the EuroMillions Millionaires’ Raffle.
Though he was “dumbfounded” when he learned of his win just a day after the draw, Steve already has a few plans. First on his priority is a new car, since his commute from work in London to Blackburn every weekend is a long drive. He also has plans to visit his daughter in Australia and a brother in the US.
His sudden fortune has also made him consider early retirement when he gets to be 60.
