This is bound to be welcome news for lottery players. In the last Euromillions draw, which offered a jackpot of £141 million, eight bettors were able to match five numbers and one lucky star and eighteen others were able to match only the five numbers; no ticket matched all five numbers and two lucky stars.
On the next draw on Tuesday, the National Lottery estimates the jackpot at £157 million.
Colin and Chris Weir, who won a £161 million EuroMillions jackpot in July 2011 are currently on top of the National Lottery Rich List. Anybody who wins the jackpot on Tuesday will come close to their record win, but if the jackpot is not won, a new record maybe set soon.
