Euromillions Jackpot Passes €100 Million – Superdraw Postponed

Periodically the Euromillions Lottery conducts a Superdraw where the jackpot is guaranteed at €100 million.  The lottery supplements whatever amount is in the draw from an account called Euromillions Reserve Fund.  Such a Superdraw was scheduled for Friday, but fate had other plans.

It seems that strong sales and roll-overs have caused the jackpot amount to surpass the €100 million mark naturally.  As a consequence, lottery officials have postponed the Superdraw – the first time the Superdraw has been postponed because the guaranteed prize money had been surpassed.

The money from the Euromillions Reserve Fund will be kept for future prizes and promotions.
