Wayne Rowles had been on the receiving end of brother Terence’s practical jokes. So when his Euromillions entry appeared to have won a million pounds, he initially suspected it was fake – he was wrong.
He only believed it when his brother completely denied having played a prank on him. That is when he nervously kept the ticket in a drawer till he can claim the prize. Now Rowles, who works as a professional carer says he can go on doing the work he loves without worrying about money.
