Evansville Man In Quick $300000 Lotto Win

An Evansville man won a quick $300,000 playing the lottery and couldn’t be happier.

Tim Ruston, who plays the lottery regularly, had won a free quick pick from a previous purchase of Quick Draw. Normally Ruston plays his own set of numbers, but a free ticket is not something to turn down.  As it turns out, it was the free ticket that won him the jackpot.

He was at work when he decided to check the results of the draw through his phone. Even when he saw that all of his ten numbers matched, he still found it hard to believe. So he headed to the same Circle S Mart, 11001 Highway 41 North in Evansville where he buys his tickets. When the cashier said they’d sold a jackpot winner, he immediately knew it was him.

His plans for the  windfall is simple: Buy a new pickup to replace the one he’s had for the last 15 years, and bank the rest.
