A couple from Hervey Bay on Queensland’s Fraser Coast has won a huge $70 million Powerball jackpot. The win equals the biggest jackpot ever won in Australia, and is the biggest solo win ever.
The couple, who are grandparents, have chosen to remain anonymous say that they have only won chook raffles before this. But this year the woman told her husband she has decided to win the lottery this year. Now that her prediction has come to pass, they look forward to traveling to the US and Europe, buying a dream car, and giving to charity.
