Group Of Lottery Winners Help Rebuild Community Pool

Members of the Black Notley Community Association in Braintree, Essex are all smiles after getting their pool and other facilities revamped.  What would have taken forever to repair became possible when a  group of former lottery winners with combined worth in excess of £25million came to the rescue.

With the aid of association volunteers, the swimming pool was revamped, a rotten roof and shed were replaced, and two new cottages were built.  The work was overseen by Paralympic gold medallist swimmer Jessica-Jane Applegate, who expressed hopes the pool would help train future champions.
