When the Illinois Lottery decided to set up an instant ticket game for a good cause, they named it the MS Project. It has nothing to do with a Microsoft application software.
The project turns out to be an instant ticket game to benefit medical research initiatives for Multiple Sclerosis, which is what the MS stands for. Many people who learned what the project was trying to do for MS sufferers said they loved the chance to play the lottery while contributing to a good cause. Some people interviewed even went so far as to say they will consider playing the game if only to support its worthy cause.
