Iowa Lottery Looks For Lottery Ticket Winner

A $14.3 million winning Hot Lotto ticket from the Quiktrip store in Des Moines on Dec. 23, 2010 been claimed by the person who bought it.  But Iowa Lottery officials say they believe someone has tried to claim the prize fraudulently.  A man who introduced himself as Crawford Shaw, an attorney from New York tried to claim it for Hexam Trust and but refused to divulge the identity of the real purchaser.

Though officials believe a crime has been committed, they cannot pinpoint who to charge for it.  In order to do that, they need to find the person caught on surveillance video while purchasing the ticket.  They have released the video to the public in the hopes of getting leads on the the person who purchased that ticket four years ago.
