Judge May Extend Payment Freeze On Contested Lottery Win

Marion Superior Court Judge Heather Welch has been asked to extend a ban on the release of a contested $9.5 million lottery jackpot.  This came as attorneys for the co-workers of the hair stylist who has claimed the win for herself remain hopeful, their colleague will share the winnings with them.

The judge is expected to issue a ruling on the requested freeze extension on Friday.
