Because of a few cases where store clerks have been accused of defrauding lottery players out of their winnings, the lottery recently conducted yet another round of monitoring. This time around all eight clerks monitored passed the honesty test.
Officials say that in more than a thousand such monitoring tests, 98% of the clerks have proven honest. However, at least ten of the clerks have been arrested for dishonesty.
