Lucky passengers at the Port Sunlight Station were pleasantly surprised when they received free fare tickets and free lottery tickets. The generous gesture came from a former rail guard from Wirral who won a £2.5m lottery prize back in 2004.
Ben Woods said he wants others to have a chance at winning big jackpots, and fondly remembers how he won. Back when he won, Ben immediately handed in his notice. He has since helped his family, and he has even gone on vacations in many parts of the world.
Interestingly, drivers have been discovered to be one of the luckiest professions; it appears they have won more lottery jackpots than most other professions.
