Anne Canavan, an inventor from Derry who had won £1m and a luxury vacation last year, went to the Mega Millionaire Academy sponsored by the National Lottery. Participants were coached on such things as wine choice, fulfilling their bucket lists, ordering from restaurants, arranging private jet charters and even gift wrapping. A graduation ceremony marked the end of the training which saw the participants ready to face the sometimes ‘difficult life’ of a millionaire.
