Marco Handy was one of the calmest million dollar winners the Virginia Lottery has ever seen. The reason he’s so cool about it – the win has not sunk in yet!
Hardy won his million playing the Bank A Million game, when his ticket matched all six numbers drawn on May 14. With his new riches Hardy wants to take his children to Disney World and use the bulk of the money to fund his children’s college education. The Ruckersville Food Lion store which sold the winning ticket received a $10,000 bonus.
