One man’s father has this wonderful practice of sending lottery tickets with get well cards sent to relatives. When Joseph Amorese had surgery, his father sent him a lottery ticket tucked inside a get well card.
Because of his father’s thoughtfulness, Amorese now has 7 million reasons to get well as soon as he can. The $7,000,000 Golden Ticket he received bagged the $7 million top prize! As he has just undergone surgery, he was in no position to jump up and down, but he has already decided to receive his prize in a $4.6 million lump sum net of taxes.
He plans to just continue working and enjoy life a little bit more after his win.
