Mega Millions Winner Banks $101 Million – “I Just Tried Not To Faint”

Daniel Bruckner only played the Mega Millions occasionally. But with a headline jackpot of $206 Million he figured it was worth risking a few dollars.

The 35 year old financial analyst has now been revealed as the official sole jackpot winner of the Mega Millions draw for 27th December.

Which means that after taxes he collected a jumbo jackpot of $101,440,236.

But Daniel’s win is far from being the largest jackpot for Mega Millions. In fact, it doesn’t even make the top 10 list, with even No.10 currently standing at $266 Million. The largest ever Mega Millions jackpot was $390 Million back in 2007, although that was shared by two ticket holders.

Not that it concerns Daniel of course, who said it was still very surreal. He just concentrated on avoiding fainting when they handed the check over to him.

Daniel and wife Christine, 36, have yet to make big plans for the money. So far they know that all their debts will be cleared, but will allow some time to plan for the rest.

The winning numbers for 27th December 2011 were 23, 32, 33, 39 and 43, with a Mega Ball of 8. Daniel bought 26 Mega Millions tickets from King Kullen in Middle Country Road, Middle Island, New York.

      1. No.
      2. It doesn’t exist.

If you didn’t buy a ticket, you didn’t win – simple as that. These email scams are sent out in their millions every day. Delete them, spam them or report them. But please don’t respond to them.
