Missing Millionaire Has 7 Days To Claim

The countdown is on for a missing millionaire who bought a lottery ticket in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK.

The ticket holder won £1Million in the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle draw held Friday 12th November 2010. So they now have just 7 days left to claim the money before it is donated to the good causes fund. Players only have 180 days to come forward and claim a prize, and the deadline is Wednesday 11th May at 5:30pm.

In a somewhat tongue-in-cheek and perhaps for slightly self-promotional reasons, Neil Jones, a previous winner, is trying to help locate our missing millionaire.

Neil and his partner Julie won £2,446,436 themselves in December last year. But Neil, self-employed tiler and pub singer, has compiled a special version of 80’s long haired popsters Europe’s “Final Countdown”. In recognition of the winners final 7 day countdown of course.

If you happen to be in Fenton today, you can catch Neil singing at Ye Old Manor Inn in Manor Road. (And if you do, please upload a video of the Lottery Final Countdown to YouTube for us all to see – add the link as a comment below)

Millionaires Raffle is an add-on game for EuroMillions players in the UK. It pays a guaranteed £1 Million prize every week to one lucky EuroMillions ticket holder.

UPDATE:

We’ve found him – here’s Neil Jones in all his long haired glory. We particularly like their big entrance which had us in stitches (“you can’t see us behind the speakers…”):
