Mother And Son To Share $61 Million Prize

Retired state worker Bettina ‘Tina’ Still and her son Jonathan have claimed the $61 million Mega Millions prize Friday afternoon.  They had waited a full week before coming forward with the claim so they could plan what to do with the windfall.  They’ve also taken the time to avail of the services of a financial advisor.

Tina is still excited about her win and thinks her winning such a large amount is such a blessing.  The win may be the fruit of years playing the lottery and believing that she may someday win.  She claims to have played the lottery since it opened in Tennessee.  The Shell station on Old Harding Pike in Bellevue was given a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning  ticket.

Tina and her son have opted to take a lump sum payment.  She has a simple piece of advice for people dreaming of winning – “You can’t win if you don’t play.”
