New Member Of City Council Sells Winning Ticket

June 11, 2013 is a date that Michael Yun will remember for a long time.  That day he won a seat in the City Council, and his store, the Garden State News on Central Avenue, sold a ticket that won a million dollars from the lottery.  For selling the ticket, Michael will receive $10,000 from the lottery operators.

The new member of the City Council is thrilled saying the lady who won was a good person who deserved the windfall.

Michael also remembers having sold a ticket that won a $6.8 million “Pick Six” jackpot from the same store they have owned in the past 32 years.
