A couple from Christchurch in New Zealand have just won $4,667,251 on the NZ Lotto.

The win has been especially welcome as their home was damaged badly by the earthquake on 22nd February, and they have had to live in temporary accommodation ever since.

Carmen and Loretta Demizio just won $41.3 Million on the Canada Lotto 6-49.

And they credit the win in part to the New York Yankees of whom Carmen has long since been a fan.
