An unnamed winner from Mount Hawthorn, Perth, is celebrating winning $15 Million in Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw.

The man, now in his 60’s, is looking forward to a much more comfortable retirement.

He played his own selection of numbers, using a combination of those he picked and some his grandson picked. He said:-

My grandson told me I was going to win Lotto one day and look where I am now, a Lotto winner.

His initial plans are to make charitable donations to the tsunami relief funds for Japan, and to the Princess Margaret Hospital. And after that, he’s looking forward to enjoying life:

I can now do all the things I’ve ever wanted to do like helping out my children and grandchildren and travelling the world.

The ticket was bought at the Hutton St Lottery Centre & News in Osborne Park, which sold a $17 million winning ticket just last June.
