A professional caregiver from Phoenix won a million dollars from an Arizona Lottery scratchers ticket.  It came just in time for her to have money to invest for her retirement she had planned for next year.

Alice Lewis bought the winning Million Dollar Cash Bonanza ticket from Fry’s Food Store in Phoenix.  As soon as the vending machine issued the ticket, she went back to her car and scratched it.

She thought she had won $1,000 but realized on second look that she had won a million.  She immediately had her ticket verified at the store.  She refused to be interviewed further.

Lottery officials say there is one more million dollar jackpot waiting to be won in the Million Dollar Cash Bonanza game
