In the Euromillions draw 888 held last Friday 25 March, there was a mix-up – the machine had drawn the lucky star number 8, but the lottery website published the lucky star as the number 6. What followed was a lot of complaints from lottery players who felt cheated.
The lottery operators Camelot have issued an apology for the error and said that everything has been cleared up and the website now displays the correct results. That is small consolation, however, for [layers who thought they had won a bit more.
