Two lottery enthusiasts from Port Orchard have won new Silverado trucks from the Washington Lottery’s Trucks and Bucks game.

Kelly Gast, a veterinary technician who has only ever won $5 to $20 on occasional lotto and scratch ticket purchases, won in the first drawing.  She was at home when the Washington Lottery’s representative called to inform her of the win.  She informed her husband right away, and went on to pick an ice silver 2014 Chevy Silverado with a black leather interior.

She plans to take the new truck on a trip before school starts.

Paul Zunich, the winner in the second drawing is a certified lottery enthusiast who also plays Powerball, Mega Millionsand Match 4  regularly.  And since he entered in the second drawing of the Trucks and Bucks game, Paul had bought tickets in packets of 50.

His persistence paid off when he was informed he was the second winner of a truck.  He later chose a metallic blue topaz 2014 Chevy Silverado, which he plans to show off at the bar where he usually scratches off tickets.
