Valhalla postal worker became an instant millionaire after she scratched off a $10 lotto ticket. She won $3 million, which promptly caused her 15-year old son to ask for a BMW.
The prize seems to be really meant for her, as she revealed she almost gave up on buying a ticket after finding a man ahead of her on the machine. She persisted and took the ticket home where she discovered the win.
She can receive the win as a single payment of $1,561,848 bet of taxes or twenty annual payments of $99,270 also net of taxes. One thing she has decided to do is continue working; she will also continue playing the lottery.
