Powerball Winner Builds A New Firehouse

Mark Hill was a simple hardworking man from Camden Point in New Jersey prior to Nov. 2012;  that was when he won half of a $587 million jackpot.  They have only bought a new truck for themselves since then, but they’ve done a lot for their small town.

The fire service has saved his Dad’s life twice, so Hill and his wife decided to give their town of just 500 people a brand new firehouse.  The generous couple have also given money for a new ball field and contributed a further $50,000 to help construct a sewage treatment plant.
