Waco resident and roofing sub-contractor Victor Esparza has been playing the lottery weekly for about six years. In that time he has won $100 and $500 occasionally, but nothing substantial – until last week.
Esparza dropped by the Snacks & Suds, 2020 N. 25th St. where he purchase a “50X The Cash” ticket just last week. When he scratched it at the store, a prize of $1 million was revealed. It was so unexpected that his wife refused to believe him when he first told her of the win.
The winner does not have any plans for the money yet. All he knows is that he wants to keep working and playing the lottery.
