It may seem nearly impossible for a man to win two lottery jackpots on the same day, but that is exactly what Kenneth J. Stokes was able to do. And it was the result of an error – a very fortunate one.
Stokes had been playing a set of numbers for the ‘Lucky for Life’ game, and when that number came up he received a call from the lottery saying he had won $25000 for life. That is cause enough for celebration, but then he remembered he had played a second ticket using the same number, so Stokes will receive 2 x $25,000 for life.
He now says he may go on vacation with family, help pay for his son’s education, and help his daughter with car payments.
