What’s better than hearing that your sister won $25,000 while playing instant lottery games? For Lisa Norton of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, it was winning a scratcher prize herself.
Lisa finds it fun to play what she calls ‘scratcher’ games. By that she means the instant lottery tickets you scratch off to reveal the prize. After learning that her sister had won $25,000 the previous Thursday, she was thrilled. But not half as thrilled as she was to post her own win – and for twice the amount. She had bought two instant tickets. The first one was a dud, but the second revealed $50,000 in prizes.
It’s a safe bet she’s not about to stop playing the lottery anytime soon.
