Someone From South Philly Is $131.5 Million Richer

Lottery officials have announced that a powerball ticket, whose number combination successfully matched five white balls and the red powerball in Saturday’s drawing, had been sold in Federal Beer, a beer distributor in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia.

The winning ticket is worth $131.5 million annuity or $77.4 million cash less 25 percent federal withholding, for one lucky lottery player.  Federal Beer gets a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
