Lloyd Wager of Sundridge says he likes playing instant lottery scratch games primarily because the result is just a scratch away. Now he has more a lot reasons to like playing instant games – 500,000 of them! Wager has just won half a million dollars playing the Instant Classic Sapphire game.

The happy winner shares that the guy at the Cox’s General Store on Main Street in Sundridge told him there was a new instant ticket available, which was the Instant Classic Sapphire. He was convinced to try it out so he bought two, and started scratching them. Because he won small prizes on both tickets, he purchased two more. It was one of those last two that won him $500,000.

He realized he really had a winner after scanning the ticket in the machine and asking the clerk to validate it. The terminal immediately froze and the store received a call from OLG, who wanted to speak to him. Now he says the Instant Classic Sapphire game has just become his new favorite.

He made his claim at the lottery offices and intimated that with his winning he wants to buy a home and to take a fishing trip up north with his brother.
