Swansea Syndicate Wins £1m

In a story that closely mirrors a recent BBC TV drama series, 16 workers at Swansea’s DVLA are now happily celebrating, after their ticket won the Euromillions Millionaire’s Raffle to the tune of £1 million.  Unlike the show however, their win is quite a bit less and they are not squabbling about the money.

Each is expected to get a £62,500 share of the jackpot.  There are reports, however,  that three members may miss out for failing to pay their share towards purchase of the winning ticket.
