By now we’ve probably heard about dozens of lucky ‘formulas’ for winning the lottery. Some believe in dreams, fortune cookies, urges, and lots of other ‘systems’. Thai lottery players may have come up with a new practice – staring at a special rock trying to find numbers.
At a temple in Suphanburi province is a cave being prepared to contain a Buddhist image. A rock inside the cave is believed to have a carving of a deity’s face on it. People have been coming at the site to pray and to shine their phone lights trying to find lucky numbers.
