A thief stole items from five unlocked vehicles in the 2400 block of Ironville Pike, near Malleable Road.  Among the items stolen were cash, tools, GPS units, phones and a winning $100 scratch-off ticket.  Fortunately, the owner of the winning scratch-off had recorded the ticket’s serial number.

Police requested lottery officials to flag the stolen ticket if anyone tries to cash it.  The thief went to a local store to cash the stolen ticket within a few hours of the theft, giving the police an opportunity to obtain his photograph from the surveillance video.

Police have released the photos and have asked the public for help in identifying the suspect.
