A big group of Scots ventilation workers have hit the Lottery for a cool million pounds.  A laundry man is the latest winner of the lottery’s Millionaire Maker draw.

In the US, a blue collar worker won $2 million a couple of days before turning 60.

The lottery has spread some Christmas cheer to a sixteen strong Scottish workers syndicate.  The group, who call themselves the MJV syndicate, is composed of workers from MJ Ventilation in Coupar Angus, from where they took their name.

Laundry Man Becomes Latest Lotto Millionaire
Clacton laundryman Iain Cockburn had a habit of buying lottery tickets and getting them checked at the same store.  Over time the tellers would either advise him that he’d won nothing or congratulate him for winning a small amount.  Thus, nothing prepared him for a particular Saturday when he walked in to the local McColls newsagents on North Road.

Man Receives $2 Million Prize On His Birthday
Gurnee resident Dave Martinez has made a trip many of us aspire for.  On his 60th birthday on the 21st of November, he took a trip to the offices of the Illinois Lottery to claim a $2 million instant ticket prize.
