Retired factory worker Maggie Pendergast and her friend Steve Kerr have won a million pounds and a trip to Brazil.
The lucky pair have been playing as a syndicate for a while and each buy two Euromillions tickets per week. This time one of the lucky dips they bought from Morrisons came up with a winning UK Millionaire Maker code.
Pendergast says she will be buying herself a new mobility scooter, hearing aid and a bed; the rest of the money will be used to help family. Kerr will go on the Rio trip with Pendergast’s son, buy himself a new car. He has no plans yet for the rest of his share.
